RSPB Fowlsheugh in Photos

I’ve already written about the amazing sea bird spectacle at RSPB Fowlsheugh so I thought I’d just put together a little photo blog post on our recent walk here.  The lovely cliff walk is just a short drive south of Stonehaven (you can actually see Dunnottar Castle in the distance) and I can’t recommend it highly enough – beautiful views of the North Sea and an amazing seabird city (around 130,000 seabirds in the summer).  If you visit in spring and early summer you may even spot some puffins (my lens is not up to puffin photography but I managed one blurry pic of the only puffin we saw this time).  As well as watching the swirl of seabirds I love just standing on the cliff edge, gazing out to sea.
